The MMs are really trying to pull this down...I've been watching the action closely in the last 48 hours and the pressure is still on the buying side, despite the absurd spread. Unfortunately I no longer have real-time Level II so I can't analyze the play-by-play to see who's doing what. In my limited experience this is kind of activity is indicative of a stall point before a move, the direction of which is uncertain. Either the MMs are baiting a trap for the short-termers or they're positioning for the next upward move. More now than ever I feel that a solid contract announcement would send this through the roof.
