Warren Buffett said the final word about short selling. Even when you are absolutely right and the company is garbage, your patience may be painfully tried when ignorant people's buying pushes the price far beyond your expectations. Something to that effect. We underestimate the insanity and stupidity of Mr. Market. And there is always my point, inflation pushes up the price of paper clips, horse manure, whatever. Whenever one sells short one is gambling AGAINST inflation. Short selling makes particularly little sense when one is a proven expert at practically everything else. Chugs.
