Hi RT, et al:

I've been followed VVUS as well as this thread for a bit, and recently took a position (long).

Fwiw, the float is the number of shares currently being publically traded (vs. the 35 million total owned both in the public float and privately).

The significance of a 22MM share float with an approx 10MM share short, as many others here have reported, is that nearly 1/2 of the public float is short interest, offering great squeeze potential.
