Not sure what the point of that quote is. ("zip drive performs fastest in the internal SCSI format") We all know that SCSI zip drive performace is much higher than parallel. If the point is internal vs. external, I doubt very much that their is any difference in performance between internal and external SCSI. There is absolutely no technical justification for it.
