"537 people in the whole country with good ideas? A while back, I heard a good idea. The illegal issue is not an immigrant issue it is a legal issue enmeshed with a humanitarian issue, complicated by agency economics. Our social services, health, welfare, education, jails etc are being bankrupted trying to support the illegals that we have no legitimate systemic method to deal with ... and it is collapsing some parts of our infrastructure. Idea: Why not pay for this support from money that is already authorised as foreign aid money to the home countries of these illegals. Prediction: The home countries would want them deported and pay for the extradition lickety split. They provide these services much more economically than we do. Crisis solved. Point: The idea did not come from any of the sacred 537. However, I hope someone has passed it on to one of them. Finally: A good Spring cleaning of congress is longggggg over due.
