That's another wrinkle in the complexity of climate change.

1) Is it really happening?
2) If so, are humans the cause?
3) If so, is there anything we can do to reverse it?
4) Regardless of the cause, if it exists, and persists, what will be the results?

All major unknowns.

There are people on the left that would want to turn us all into vegetarians and leave all modern conveniences behind us.

There are people on the right that will not let anyone suggest to them that damaging the ecosystem is not only harmful to future generations of people in other parts of the world but also to future generations of people in other parts of our country and nearby neighborhoods.

People who have opinions probably span the two extreme positions. However, it doesn't matter what most people think. Most people do not have sufficient background to have an opinion.

What really counts is what the consensus of the scientific community think.

Most scientists are not religious. Most scientists are not political. Most scientists are trained in the scientific method. This does not mean that au currant science is always right, but the scientific method is self correcting. The scientific method is most likely to dominate the future.

Left wing and right wing extremists should really get together to fight what is most likely coming down in the future. BS is not going to cut it. Left wing and right wing extremists do not have much of a future.
