You didn't hear any harsh words from the press or anyone else, in the 2004 hurricanes in FL did you? "Brownie" handled those with FEMA just fine...with the Governor Jeb Bush.

Now in 2005, what was the difference in LA? Same Fed Gov set up, BUT a disorganized (being kind) State and Local NO Government....

You do know that FEMA isn't set up to do anything else but to coordinate various agencies work, don't you? The State calls the shots....
OR NOT as in the case of LA. Both Nagin and Blanco were both WAY over their heads....
