I've heard about "Boondocks" being on hiatus, but this waste continues to run in The Denver Post. What's that all about, I wonder? Must be reruns, I guess. This strip is really terrible, as is the cartoonist, himself. A true racist.
As I perused the strips in this morning's paper, I realized how many of them totally bore me these days. Take Drabble, or Rudy Park, just to name a couple. There are at least a dozen, maybe more, that I don't even glance at anymore. I used to love these things, but the newer stuff is pretty low quality.
An old standard like Blondie continues to be very well drawn and comical. Ditto for Dennis the Menace, a very well drawn 'toon. |
