Bush met with Prince Bandar on 9-12-01. The next day, top Saudis and Bin ladens were allowed out of the country without interrogation. Richard Clarke testified under oath that a call came from above, probably from Andrew Card "at the request of the Saudi embassy" which would have been Bandar.

Why would this in any way surprise you? Bush has long been a close crony of the Sauds and the Bin Laden family.
