It gets more interesting.........

Dividing the $385m "Online Service Revenues" plus $80m ad revenue
reported by AOL ($90m "Other Revenue" less $10m from ANS) by 3 x AOL's
reported $16.77 total average monthly revenue per sub:

(385+80)/(16.77 x 3) = 9.24m

Within 4% of the 9.65m computed by using access revenue alone.

But dividing the $80m ad revenue by 3x AOL's reported $3.47 average
monthly AD revenue per sub:

80/(3.47 x 3) = 7.68m

Whoa! 7.68 vs 9.65 and 9.24.

Is AOL using a different sub count in computing average monthly
ad-commerce revenue per sub? Perhaps excluding trial and non-pay subs
to make it look higher? But of course, those eyeballs are in the count
sold to advertisers.
