I was in a meeting with most of the management team for BGL at the Calgary show. Having a booth is nice if your agenda is to chat about your story to the retail investors. BGL was in Calgary to establish connections and present to significant players in the industry. I was just very fortunate to be able to sit in with them for one round table session and ask some questions.
I am flying to Mexico next Friday to visit the property and look forward to what I will be able to learn.
Our turn to generate interest from the retail market will come. Right now they are going to build value and get their business plan implemented.
There are great opportunities to be had right now, and the retail guys will have their chance to get on board later, probably at higher share prices.
There are a handfull of companies that have much higher market values, which will never process even a shovel full of ore in their history.
BGL is working hard to get into production within a few weeks, and then to rapidly increase the scope of their operations.
Almost nobody has even heard of the company yet.
The day will come when this will be the flavour of the month, and I always look for the companies that are real projects before the promotion kicks in. The sheep can fight over each other chasing the over priced junk in the sector in the meantime.

Financing should be wrapped up this weekend. We will hopefully see what the drilling has produced soon. Hopefully at least one of the drills hits another massive nodule of gold.
Remember though ,this is not a vein type structure.
It is a very high grade nuggety area to put it simply. Once a Cat removes the 12 metre overburden of gravel, the gold is literally under foot.

Gold is a headline grabber, so its sex appeal will TEMPORARILY put air in its balloon.
Meanwhile, RDV's day in the sun is just around the corner (even after the recent tripling of its value).
I also toss out the mega-copper projects with 100-500 million tons of ore with grades so low they have to mill an entire mountain just break even. So many of them HAVE NOT completed their final feasibility studies to account for $3-4/gal fuel, high power costs, high labor costs, etc.
Those investors are just saying, "well, if the shares were $3 when copper is $1/lb, then it should trade at $9 when copper is $3/lb, etc."
