The problem for right wingers is that they cannot see the truth. Admitting the truth is the same as admitting they've been duped. So they keep on trotting out the same old lies that fooled them...in hopes that we'll be fooled too. I do have compassion for the sot. It's hard to swallow your pride and admit that you've been hoodwinked, especially when the person that is doing the hoodwinking is someone that you revered so highly. I have a hard time seeing the virtues of playboy turned bible thumper Bush, but understand that many bought the whole story of having to blow up the entire middle east to save democracy. The IQ of the average voter is right above that of a fence post. They tend to hang on to their value system even when it's dead wrong. We need to be compassionate progressives and realize that these folks are struggling with severe challenges. Orca
