Here we go:

What is greed?

"excessive or reprehensible acquisitiveness"

Who is to judge? Is it just Hummers... or, is that BEAMER 735i a little over the top as well, seeing I'm a single?

<The greed stands alone. It is why the bozo is still president.>

So fully 1/2 of the population is 'greedy'... or as stated above, hold 'greed' as their core value. Wonder what that's all really about? Sounds like lack of context.

One could argue that such a narrow contextual view of the world allows one to dispense with having to open the mind to an all inclusive context and stay in a nice closed box... but that would just create argument as to meanings and definitons.

It's easier to see that when one hangs on tight to ones OWN view, that one is motivated only by compassion and helpfulness for others, and proclaims these noble goals 'better' than the others... is simply the flip side of that which one loaths.

Hence we see another of lifes great 'koans': To proclaim one (and one's position, example: against 'greed') 'better' than another IS "excessive or reprehensible acquisitiveness" in the form of selfrightousness. To puff up ones self image by being "not that" (Greedy Hummer owner) is the same as being a greedy Hummer owner (need a bigass car for my image).
