I'd vote for any man or woman who can stand up there and say he/she will lead this country to oil independence and give us a plan to get there within 20 years. If Gore can convince me that he means it, then I'll vote for him. Right now, I'd say that Gore is looking pretty good compared to Bush. Like I said, I no longer care about any other issue. The only issue that matters over the next 20-30 years is energy. It is the root cause of almost every other issue in this country: national security, economic security, environmental health, geo-political stability, etc etc etc.
