Lone clone,

with all due respect. And I sincerely mean that, the difference between the Democrat's and the Republican's could not be any stronger. It is a stark difference.

Our country has been dichotimizing (can on euse that word like that-lol?). Conservatives and liberals are like oil and water and for the last 30 years they have been separating themselves out.

Virtually all conservatives are in the Republican party save three: Chafee, Snow and Collins.

Liberals in the united states are democrats and conservatives are republican. The almost complete dichotomization of the US has made us almost unable to govern, the difference are so huge.

For example, few liberals oppose gay marriage, or favor the death penalty, or are against abortion and are for gun control.

While the vast majority of conservatives oppose gay marriage, are pro life, are for the death penalty and support the NRA.

Conservatives watch FOX and liberals watch CNN and John stewart. Conservtives listen to rush Limbaugh, O'reilly and Ann coulter. Liberals listen to Al franken and the Air America.

Our country is so polarized, we cannot govern.

Personallly, I beleive it is just a matter of learning about the diffeences within our species. What ever thatmemans-lol?
