I have no idea what our grand strategery is for the ME, or Israel's either. If OURS is to install Israel and America-hating democracies, that doesn't really seem so wise, for us OR Israel. I really don't know why we are there, what our objective is or what constitutes "victory". We seem to just be killing and getting killed for really no reason at all. Because we are there? Because even though we created a complete, deadly mess compared even to the barbarity of Saddam's regieme, if we left it supposedly would get even worse? And that would make Bush look worse than he already does?
