The call of the incredible "wild" , which for Larson was the snarling sea .... better one day as lion (or wolf) than a lifetime being a lamb in a flock of sheep . (The youth fighting for the cause of Islam are known as the "young lions" , and on blood they choose to feast ) The challenges of mastering the barriers of such vast elements required such stamina and intensity ... should we ever arrive on that distant shore and find the constancy of the heavens , it would be no more than learn to tame the internal energies and elements at constant daily war & peace . But as one wise fellow put it if you are to progress in anything under the sun : it is "Intensity that is the key" !
