re: innovation -- we have not even scratched the surface of what is possible in all facets of the efficient use of energy -- or anything else for that matter. On the contrary, our efforts are at best minimal. If we destroy the ecosystem and go broke in the process, it won't be because there was no room left for improvement in our allocation and use of resources.
