I put this on another thread and forgot to post it here as well:

My kids favorite veggies - red CHARD (or spinach) sauted with butter, green onions (can use shallots or white onions- adjust the amount to your taste), and bacon or pancetta.

Take your green leafy veg and wash it- tear it up if you like, but you don't have to. Melt butter (3tbs or so) on medium heat, then add green onions (I use about 1/3 cup) and two/four pieces of bacon, crumbled. Saute until onions are translucent. Add greens, saute until soft- salt to taste, and serve. This is my own recipe, and everyone likes it.

I have found my kids love every veggie sauted with butter, onions and bacon. And it doesn't take much bacon to give your veggies wonderful flavor.
