I have not taken a net short position on a stock in a long time .... If NSCP does go in that direction it will be my first true short in a long time...of course before that happens we will thoroughly investigate it....From this day on i will keep an eye on it.... My most satisfying trades have been shorting a few Canadian stocks that ran into problems...I shorted their preferreds after calculating that they were running out of retained earnings and could not cover their dividends....Both series of preferreds went from 25 par to 25 cents to 1.5... Barksdale is a smart man but let us all see if this really happens.... I truly would like to find a good tech stock that is on the road to ruin to hedge my long positions...
