First is to get rid of the illegals.

Round them up and jail them? Deport them? Turn them into bonded labor for two years? Sounds like a hard time for the tired poor huddled masses. And what if Americans don't want to do the jobs that the illegals were doing? I don't want to pick grapes.

Second could be to impose a level playing field with regard to working conditions and environmental regulation... if not, impose equivalent tariffs.

Huh? Do you mean implement a global minimum wage? That's totally ridiculous.

(BTW that might help YOUR people).

That would kill economic expansion and eliminate jobs for millions. Wait. Who are MY people? The women of Hooters!?

Third, we've got to figure a way to smooth the US wage scale, back to the way it used to be. I frankly don't know how you do that... it's more a social issue than a political or business issue. But it needs to be done if America isn't going to fall into third world status that you seem to admire so much.

Tax the rich! Starting with you first...
