in the city, standard code enforcement addresses quite a few issues.

Assuming the City is good about enforcing Code.

In my town, it's supposedly a violation to park an RV, boat or commercial type vehicle on the street for more than a few days. That doesn't stop a woman down the street from having a big-ass stake truck parked in front of her house for weeks on end or other neighbors from parking their 1967 Chevy Pickup with ratty camper in front of their house.

If we had a HOA, these would be taken care of pronto.
