Hawk, U.S. is nothing without oil. So would be Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, etc.. etc.. etc.. if oil was at $10 a barrel and they were begging you to buy it. Maybe instead of being a right wing pinhead you should be trying to convince your greedy hypocritical right wing republican friends, the ones that are driving the behemoth SUVs, to instead start conserving rather than consume it like it's nothing. It is US who are the problem and the solution starts from US as well. At $75 a barrel of course Iran's Mullahs would be jumping up and down with joy. And they'll do it even more at $100. You cut consumption and you put'em out of business. Instead you hypocrites are driving all those huge SUVs and cool and heating those ever bigger MacMansions to cool and heat your ever increasing American fat ass. America has become a disaster. Medicare bankrupt by 2018, American households with no savings, 50% of middle class without health insurance, and American obesity and diabetes the true epidemic. And POS big oil whore Bush spends a TRILLION on Iraq. Oh yeah... only an idiot can't see the real problem here.
