The two-mode hybrid system announced by GM,Chrysler and BMW are going to use two different 300 volt battery packs. Lith-ion and NiMH. I don't know which models have chosen which type or maybe it will be up to buyer to choose? Don't know?

Read it off pdf on batteries which now I can't find and when I found it the first time would not paste. Now I can't find it. I started out with google of "two-mode hybrid system".

Interesting post on ENER Yahoo this morning post 198205 tetom. Thanks tetom.

I figure ECD is earning 1 to 1.5 million/ month on the 400 million plus they have in hand. Wasn't that about their monthly loss prior to the offering? tertom

Whole post pasted. The interest earned may be only temporary but will be a big plus for now in bottom line. I though about it but had know idea about how much money a quarter it could bring in.

I came across the information that the GM Allison Bus is using a 600 volt Nimh battery pack with two 100kw motors. With a energy storage system. Information from GM site.

The GM Tahoe and Yukon SUV's will have 300 volt battery packs.
