Yes, it is. Don't teach them anything they don't want to learn, just keep passing them on.

There was something in the news about this very bright young girl from a small Tennessee town who had a 4.0 GPA valedictorian of her graduating class, the works. She was going to be a doctor so she went off to University and found out how much she really didn't know at all. She said when she was in school, everything came easy to her, she never made less then an A. Now, she's struggling to make above a D in most of her classes.

We need to raise the bar for all schools in the U.S. We're falling far behind the world in educating our kids. We need to get discipline back in the schools and take a harder line with the kids AND parents. Teachers don't want to teach because the kids are outta control.
