In fairness to the BOJ, the hyperliquidity created by the BOJ may have fueled the crackup boom elsewhere in the world, but not at home. The BOJ of course conducts monetary policy in response to the domestic situation first and foremost. I'd say that their "slow motion" approach is well justified so far. Let's see if they pick up the pace going forward.
