On reason why global CBS seem asleep at the switch is that we still are for the most part in the virtuous phase of the inflation cycle. Most asset holders have been enriched far more by asset inflation than they have been hurt by goods and services inflation

But watch out below when asset inflation gives way to huge price rises for life's necessities -- a metamorphisis that may be very close now.
