Untrue. Hard work alone makes nobody. 90%+ of people who work had will not get rich in their lifetimes. A good portion of it is luck/opportunities.


There is a difference between "luck" and "lotteries". To obtain tremendous wealth you have to be smart enough to be in the right place at the right time, repeatedly, and know how to take advantage of it. I think of those that inherit wealth as "lottery winners", an accident of birth.
