They really are hurtful and shameful attacks. You have a fun loving sense of humor, and I have never seen you make mean spirited personal attacks on anyone. CVJ is totally out of line. And I have noticed that he has singled you out in the past for what ever reason. I expect he'll start on me too since I'm defending you. I wouldn't give it a second thought....the problem definitely lies within his own soul.
