Thanks, I am completely ignorant of this type of investing so I've just made a few very small bets in asian funds, with the idea of adding on weakness.

I always learn a lot faster if I have a stake in the game. So far the big winner is IFN, The India Fund, which after I bought it I found had a large premium but it still went up a great deal today.
