But since the entire fricking country is in debt (how many savers do we see?) the path of least resistance would seem to be inflation rather than deflation. If it is the latter, everybody gets screwed. If it is the former, only a few "stupid" savers get screwed. Keep in mind that I do agree that we as a country should learn to save. But I think it is a little too late for us to learn that lesson now!
