I just received an email from Garth Turner about the Federal budget. I've just clipped part of it. Read it and have a laugh.
- Making good on the $1,200-per-year child payment and - to ensure it is
not taxed back to nothing - putting it in he hands of the less-taxed souse
and exempting it for the calculation of other geared-to-income benefits.

I expect the souse will use the child payment to buy some two fours or Canadian Club don't you.
