It sits in the shade, north side of house, essentially wet from November through March. Can really get slimey. Maybe that marine paint with the grit in it for traction, ha! I think painting is not a bad idea when you expect to replace it. But I wont paint it a second time, just tear it down and get myself Trex finally.
