Steve,Read your note on what cpq did to you in 87. I agree everything is overvalued too. But everything you read seems to indicate no one is willing to step up to the plate first. Lets say the deck is being stacked now and the hand will be played when the field is covered with ice and no one can attend the game to watch the loss. This way everybody happy. Small investor and mutual fund investor will take it with stride. They'll accept it as just another correction as long as they do not go back to far from there original purchase price. I only hope I have the courage to sense it and write alot of in the calls.

I'm in the camp that CPQ will split again this year or atleast announce it this year. They're doing a great job marketing. Ran 4 page circular in NY Times this sunday. I'm buying one this week, so much power for so little. I only buy CPQ because I own stock in it. Why should I give money to competitor? Doesn't mattter to me who has the better product, loyal.

Chances of a healthy correction this year? Short interest is starting to fall, maybe an indication?

Regards
Ken
