See how low the corporate media has sunk? See how low the US has sunk? See how low the US government has sunk? We're now resorting to the old court trick of having the court jester telling the King that he's a blithering idiot and a disaster for the country. If Colbert did things in a serious manner, would he have been fired by his corporate media company? I think YES! The US has, for all intents and purposes, become a dictatorship. It may be a limited one (or not) with limited powers (or not) but it still has idiotic and cowardly people acting as if there's a KING. Did you ever see such fearful, greedy bowing and scraping to a Prez with a 71% WRONG TRACK disapproval rating? It's unbelievable. Nixon is really furious because he can't figure out why he didn't get away with it. Hey Dick, you should have started a war and rigged the vote! Your venality and illegality simply weren't venal and illegal enough. If you're going to steal, steal big.
