Thanks, JDN...A couple of things there are helpful, and I didn't know them.
But the manufacturers I think have gotten careless for the last several years, adding more and more items that pretty soon add up to "heavy"....and some of that as been mandated by the government...(i.e. carseats, airbags, etc)
Talked to a local Corporate Sales Director for one of our hotels in the area today....She talked about the cost of food, and that they were already receiving additional surcharges on food and other items needed for the hotel, because of the fuel situation.
One example we will all see soon....The soft drink companies have more than doubled the price of the soft drinks, because they are heavy and the gas is so high...
This is going to multiply out for all of soon, in every area of our life.
And still, the States are insisting on over 300+ different boutique gas blends....taking up refinery time, AND costing all of us more and more money. |
