Yes, transportation costs ripple through the entire economy if the price of fuel stays up. Incidentally, since its just my wife and I, I removed the rear seat from my Wrangler (jeep) a long time ago. Many of my friends have quit carrying their spare as truck tires RARELY get a flat and you can carry a plug kit and/or can of air if you do. jdn
