Good calls on the Indicies, I'm guessing.

For some time, I forgot how I came up with those projections. Then I remembered last night. I was a fan of Edson Gould and his market letter "Findings and Forecasts" back in the 1970s. In one of his reports in the mid or late 1970s, he laid out several INDU charts and explained why the INDU would hit 3,000 by the early 1990s. I remember using the various charts and used them to caluclate the 3 moves up and 2 corrective phases under Dow Theory. I might be one of the few Edson Gould followers still alive. Edson always reminded me of the "Monopoly" game man.

I guess the three of us were on the same thread at one point.

I think it may have been on LG's thread "Market Direction Analysis." Or, maybe the "Big Kahuna" thread. I didn't post that often and even less now. It was usually when I expected a turn in the markets. Huh, I'm expecting a turn in the markets now.

I don't recall the specific post on Gold, but I was a huge fan in December.

I believe it was you who mentioned taxes and floor traders in December. If it was you, you were right on the button with it. You could see the effect you mentioned.

When you speak of the Silver move are you referring to the data from before the actual launch of the ETF or after?

Prior to the ETF when everyone was anticipating it.

I believe trading a raw commodity such as gold or silver is different.

I have never traded a commodity so I really cannot tell. I will take your word for it though.
