The solution is to bring folks in legally, just like other free market and free nations do around the globe. Many EU nations welcome folks from abroad to enter their labor pools. But folks coming in have to meet some standards. They must find or have a job to stay. They must learn and demonstrate their ability to speak the language and they must pass basic tests of local laws, customs, etc. to stay.

Why don’t we just adopt the same policy? Let folks come into our country and register with our national immigration authorities. Just like we are required to do on extended working stays in many nations in Europe and the Far East.

Then set a timetable for the immigrants to establish a residence, get and hold a job and begin to pass initial tests of language as well as other necessities. And if they don’t adhere, show them the door and limit their return for some set amount of time.
