We need to separate out are fears about terrorism from the debate on immigration. What we should be afraid of is terrorists coming across are borders with the mexican workers. That fear can be eliminated if folks who are now illegals or will be illegals get iron clad high tech ids and cross at specified points in texas and southern california. Traffic there should be two way so folks can go back and forth when work is done. They should get work permits and not citizenship. Perhaps after a certain period of time in-countyr they can be fast tracked. This eliminates black market coyotes sobs who prey on their own people. It also eliminates terrorists who will now have to cross on their own and will be easy to locate without the hordes of mexicans who inadvertantly can shield them. One other thing, their kids should no longer get auto US citizenship if born here.
