Chris Matthews has been very tough on lefties, was tough on John Kerry (without good reason) and has kissed the butt of such Republicans as Dick Armey, Boehner, McCain and many more. He was also way too nice to Zell Miller who told some big fat lies on his show, then challenged him to a duel. Talk about someone on drugs, by the way. Zell must've been. Matthews treated both Kucinich and Michelle Malkin with equal fury, apparently not liking extremists. Malkin by the way deserved Chris's bile for daring to suggest John Kery wounded himself to get out of combat. Lefties therefore can't stand Matthews and call him a conservative. But they are wrong. Matthews is as moderate as they come. Right in the middle. He will attack anyone he feels is dishonest or extreme. Left or right, and is pals with Repubs and Dems alike. Mostly the moderate kind.
