SLV ETF up to 42,000,000 delivery problems? I got this from prigani on the SH ECU thread Here are May delivery notices from the NYMEX for commodities. May silver delivery notice can be given from April 28 to April 30. nymex.com Click on this link on the above nymex site (COMEX Division Delivery Notices) Although it is only May 5, there has already been notice given for the total of 6,966 contracts, representing 34,830,000 ounces of silver. That is already one third of total Comex stocks. What does this mean? I wonder if Barclays is taking a lot of the Comex silver in May, for SLV? I saw Barclays on the list for yesterday, but not on today's list of notice issuers. Can anyone here confirm the roles of delivery notice issuers and stoppers? I am going to print off these daily notices, to keep track of what may become a major delivery problem for May silver.
