I think humor usually works better than sharp objects for that kind of goal (except for e.g. individuals over on the MSFT thread who are convinced they're gifted comics, but whose jokes are how-not-to humor lessons 90% of the time).

For JS at the shareholder's meeting, I think the message would be communicated more effectively if you could

a) get a bunch of cheap clip-on pony tails that anybody could wear

b) organize a few people with counterfeit Sun event badges to stand at the ballroom doors with boxes full of the fake tails and hand them out to all shareholders

c) have everybody put on their pony tail right as Schwartz walks out to speak

d) at various times during his remarks, have plants in the audience take their pony tails off and throw them at the stage. You couldn't really advise anybody to light it on fire before throwing it, but that might be OK too.

Wouldn't that be nifty?
