Okay,

I will present the three wines I turn to when business is slow and the market has been very unkind to my micros. These are all from Kappy's, the closest liquor store to me.

1. Weber May Wine...a modest German wine infused with woodruff, the only wine my wife will drink (she is not a wine lover) 5.99

2. Rene Junot dry red table wine a "careful blend of 20% syrah, 40% granache noir, and 40% carignan, not vintage (or multiple vintages, LOL) 3.99

3. last but not least, Egri Bikaver (Hungarian) "Bull's Blood of Eger" 5.99

The last two benefit from time to breathe, about 24 hrs. LOL, and have the added value of being good fuel additives and varnish removers. The Egri is good to serve folks visiting from Hungary who miss the Olde Country and its quaint ways.

I have been drinking these periodically through the years with no ill effects (yet).

Na Dzorofna!!

SG

BTW, thanks for all of your submissions, I'll try them all.
