CJ, I remember that well. I also remember the argument how Elian would be better off in the US.

Just goes to show you that enforcing the law often has negative political ramifications. All the courts ruled in favor of Elian's father, yet when it came time to grab Elian, the cameras were there to take the famous photo. Most Americans approved of what Clinton did, but whodathunk that those who didn't ended up becoming the "swing vote" in Indecision 2000?
