Interesting little tid bit-lol. Giant lizards and our ancestors:

When "man" first crossed from Indonesia to Australia about 50,000 yeara ago, they think, they were confronted with a huge monitor lizard about 25 feet long. Imagine a Komodo dragon, only 3 times lar5ger.

This lizard ate a lot of the people, as they really had no defense against it.

But we did not get to be king of the mountain on our brawn.

They figured out to wait until dawn when the cold blooded lizard was in a state of torpor; and then they went in and dispatched it.

They had soon eradicated them entirely from Australia.
