IMO a major name like Barrick/Dome adds glamour to the story -- at least for the investors who don't know squat about junior explorers. If we were in Phase 3 of this bull market, the IPO would FLY aka 1999 just on the story alone!

Talking about IPO's -- there are still a couple I am waiting for:

Newwest Corp and Columbus Gold - both with claims in the Nevada.

Columbus Gold filed and "is currently roadshowing ahead of an IPO expected to occur in late April/early May." -- my thinks we are at that point! Their website is finally up ... the "Investor" webpage is currently under construction. Their Logo looks very similar to another, but I can't place it right now.

I am on Newwest Corp's email list ... have not received any notice they have filed yet - they hoped to file and list by April - missed that one so ... they will probably IPO after Labor Day. Newwest qualifies to list on the Toronto Exchange.

P.S.

I just clicked on the Links page on Columbus Gold website -- They list Lawrence Roulston's Resource Opportunites and Paul van Eeden. Betcha they are both going to write them up ...

Newwest has redone their home webpage - shows map of their Nevada holdings.
