I don't have a flexfuel. Is this just totally bias or are people using EB85 noticing similar experiences?

>you might notice a few things.

• Odor. Sometimes the strong smell of the ethanol in the fuel was annoying.
• Pep. The Caravan's 3.3-liter V-6 has only modest power to start — 180 horsepower and 210 pounds-feet of torque — so any sluggishness attributable to the E85's lower energy content would be unwelcome. But it was undetectable in the seat of the pants. It simply felt slow.
• Mileage. Poor, as expected from a fuel that has just 72% of the energy that gasoline does. The test van's trip computer showed 13.5 mpg mainly around town, with a little freeway tossed in.
The government rates the Caravan 3.3-liter V-6 model at 13 mpg in town, 17 mpg on the highway when using E85. The rating is 19/26 when the fuel is gasoline.
