Colbert's routine was still the best and most courageous roastings i've ever see though. What made junior so uncomfortable was that he knew it was all true even if there were things he didn't understand. The level of dissent in this country through comedy is growing. In the first three months of 2005, there were 100+ jokes about Bush by comedians like Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno. In the same three months this year, the number is closer to 400. Believe it or not, some conservative org. tracks these things. It would seem the amount of dissent is increasing on all levels in this country. Is Bush's resignation long in coming?
