That's one of the reasons I liked CMM's recent purchase of a mine and mill in Peru (besides the exploration potential). They are in a JV (60% if I remember correctly) with the employees who are actually running the mine.

This way the employees have a big interest in working with management to increase efficiency, productivity, and output, but management is still the majority partner with final say.
